Dalton Foundry workers work to clean up an oil spill in front of the foundry on East Jefferson Street Tuesday morning.
Around 11 a.m. Warsaw Fire Department firefighters responded to close the area of East Jefferson in front of Dalton’s for about two blocks. The spill took about an hour to clean up. The oil spill was caused by a semi-tractor trailer that had a leak.
The semi was not one of Dalton’s. The foundry said it has identified what transport caused the mess and will deal with it accordingly.
