The Times-Union has confirmed that a drug investigation took place Friday at Warsaw Community High School, where students and faculty were "locked down" while several police dogs were brought in to comb the facility for contraband.
Telephone calls to Warsaw Community High School Principal Jennifer Brumfield, school resource officer David Morales of the Warsaw Police Department and the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force Officer were not returned this morning.
Also, there were no police reports filed for inspection in a binder designated for the media at the WPD.
It is not known whether any WCHS students were taken into custody or if any charges were filed as a result of the investigation.
