Numerous police officers and detectives from the Kosciusko County Sheriff Department marched down the center of Main Street Wednesday afternoon, joining bystanders to pay their respects to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Jeffery Bryant Shaw. Wednesday marked the five-year anniversary of Shaw’s fatal accident while on duty. His widow, Angie Shaw, and her two children, Isabella and Nick, welcomed those in attendance read a poem in her late husband’s honor. Warsaw Community Church Senior Pastor, Denny Wilson left the crowd with a prayer and the message that our time on earth is very limited. Shaw’s children are now 12 and 14 yearsold and Nick is “just like his father,” Angie Shaw said.
