Off The Shelf Reading Group meets the first Thursday of every month at 2 p.m. in room A. This month, they took Ernest J. Gaine’s book “A Lesson Before Dying” off the shelf and they will discuss it Thursday.
Bring a soda or cup of coffee and join them. Let’s talk about your favorite character, what moves you in the story? There is a trial and at various points the book draws analogies to who? Women play a significant role in the book.
