Artists are being sought for October’s First Friday in downtown Warsaw.
The theme for the Oct. 6 event is all about art, “so if you are a budding new artist or a lifelong painter, we encourage you to bring your talents to the downtown during (October’s) First Friday,” according to coordinator Paula Bowman.
Artists can showcase their talent or sell pottery and paintings. All types of art is welcome at the family friendly event.
Set up is from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 6, with First Friday running from 5 to 9 p.m.
Applications can be found at warsawcdc.org/firstFriday so artists can reserve a spot.
Local school art teachers will have fun projects for the kids to make, and representatives of OrthoWorx will be on the courthouse lawn with more art projects.
The October sponsor of First Friday is the local Edward Jones advisors.
Bowman added, “Come and join us to check out the wonderful talent in our city. To show, sell, admire or buy, it’s going to be a great night.”
