Editor, Times-Union: Ditto and hurrahs to Michael Alspaugh and Lonnie Slone. I love you both – your articles in Tuesday’s paper hit the nail on the head. Readers should read them again or those that missed them, read them by all means. Romney must stop attempts to justify Obama’s wild accusations and blow the bugle for cavalry charge through the Democrats’ defensive line about our current foreign policy, economic conditions in our country and the unemployment rate and then turn around and charge back through. Obama continues to drag the Romney taxes as red herring to distract the voters from the real issues. Romney should ignore all else and hammer away at the issues and be more specific about taxes, unemployment and health care and let Obama rebut if he can.
