With the cold temperatures experienced during Thursday's Oak Cemetery Regency meeting, board members were relieved winter preparation was completed in October.
With no further outdoor groundwork scheduled for the year, the regency held a re-election of its present officials and assigned Warren Tatter as the new board president. Bob Sandy was elected vice president. Lewis Dobbins will become an "at-large" member following his two-year term as president. Ellen Hoffer will remain as regency secretary. The posts are for two years.
"Since we have the same few members every year, we switch up roles between us when terms are over," Dobbins said.
The board also signed six deeds for cemetery plats and reported 15 burials in November.
Regency members are Tatter, Sandy, Dobbins and Hoffer. The next meeting is Jan. 5.
