Oakwood Cemetery Board of Regents held its monthly meeting Thursday night. Hal Heagy, cemetery sexton, showed the board a colored map that has been completed that shows all the burial lots at the cemetery. There were 331 loads of wood given away this year and five loads of wood left to give out. Work on the cemetery shop is being done with new work benches completed and a welding area being constructed. Cemetery employees will put up lights in downtown Warsaw for the Fire and Ice Festival. The cemetery approved allowing people to have bronze pieces on columbariums that must be bolted on. There were 13 burial deeds, 12 burials and 14 lots sold.
