NWCPL Offers Free Concert

NORTH WEBSTER - April 14-18, the North Webster Community Public Library will celebrate National Library Week.

Join the library for refreshments, provided by the Friends of the Library.

Every day, two lucky patrons who stop by the library this week will receive a prize.On April 17 from 5 to 7 p.m., come in and listen to Goldmine Pickers. This four-piece band is a combination of bluegrass, jazz, folk and Irish traditions. Their acoustic performance is an inspiring interplay between guitar, mandolin, upright bass, fiddle and vocal harmonies.

On April 10 from 4 to 5:30 p.m., the library will host a Captain Underpants Party. All children ages 6-11 are invited to attend. There will be games, food, trivia, crafts and prizes. Come into the library to register.

Story Time is every Wednesday from 11 to 11:45 a.m. and Toddler Times are the first and third Mondays of every month from 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Family Movie Night will be April 24 at 5 p.m.

In the Local History and Genealogy Center, Writer's Corner is April 21 from 10 a.m. to noon.

April 30 is the deadline for entering Essay Contest nominations honoring those who are buried in the North Webster Cemetery. For more information about the contest, Writer's Corner, or the Local History and Genealogy Center, contact Beth at 574-834-7122.
