November First Friday Is All About ‘Thanks,’ Giving Back

November First Friday Is All About ‘Thanks,’ Giving BackFirst Friday Warsaw will host a Fill the Truck/Thanks-for-Giving Block Party from 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 6 downtown Warsaw.
The community is invited to help fill a city dump truck with donations to help stock Combined Community Services and The Salvation Army. Bring nonperishable food items, cleaning supplies, men and women’s toiletries and/or cash donations to the Courthouse Square between 5 and 9 p.m. Individuals who bring donations will be eligible to participate in a RelicRaid for free and a chance to win $200.
RelicRaid also will host a Kosciusko County Corporate Challenge at First Friday. Kosciusko County Corporate Chamber members may register teams to compete in the raid. Team registration cost is $100 with all proceeds going to CCS and Salvation Army.
Participants in each raid will follow a series of clues in a high-stakes race to find the hidden RELIC.
Preregistration is required for the Corporate Challenge.
The Thanks-for-Giving Block Party includes two bounce house/obstacle courses, a kiddy train ride, hayrides, games and prizes, roasted marshmallows and s'mores, hot cocoa and more.
Guests are encouraged to shop downtown boutiques and specialty stores until 7 p.m. for holiday gift-giving.
Family dining is available at Biryani Kitchen, La Troje, Mad Anthony Brewing Co., Mi Lindo Acapulco, ONE TEN Craft Meatery and The Buzz on Buffalo (formerly B'Macs on Buffalo).
Adults 21 and older can enjoy dinner and/or libations at Anthology Whiskey Room, Downtown Eatery & Spirits, Mad Anthony Brewing Co., Paradiso Cocktail Bar and Rex's Rendezvous.
