NOTICE TO BIDDERS CITY OF NAPPANEE HVAC UPGRADE PROJECT The City of Nappanee is currently planning a project to update inefficient HVAC Equipment at several City owned buildings. These buildings affected are located at the Nappanee City Hall/Fire Station at 300 W. Lincoln St., the Nappanee Center at 306 W. Market St. and the Water/Park Maintenance Garage at 660 N. Nappanee St. The successful bidder shall provide a fully functional and operational HVAC System for the above-mentioned buildings. The bidder will be responsible for the demolition and removal of existing equipment, only after all Freon and Oils have been removed and properly disposed of by the successful bidder. The removed equipment is the property of the owner and the owner will supply trucks for the disposal of said equipment. This project is being funded by the Indiana Office of Energy Development and funded through the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, a Federally Funded Program. Davis Bacon wage scales will apply. The successful Bidder will be required to follow all bidding requirements as outlined in IC 36-1-12-4. Bid documents may be obtained by contacting the Clerk-Treasurer's office at Nappanee City Hall, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana 46550, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, weekdays. Bids will be accepted until 3:30 PM, September 28, 2010, at the Nappanee Municipal Center, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, IN 46550. Bids will be opened immediately following, at the Board of Public Works and Safety Meeting, with the award date set at the meeting. Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. NO proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least thirty (30) days. SUBSTATIAL COMPLETION DATE IS DECEMBER 6, 2010. A pre-bid meeting will be held September 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Nappanee Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana 46550. Kimberly A.
