NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO THE CITIZENS OF WINONA LAKE, INDIANA STATE OF INDIANA SS KOSCIUSKO COUNTY IN RE: THE PETITION OF RICHARD R. LONG JR., RUTH H. LONG and KRISTEN J. LONG, DANIEL and MELISSA CLEMENS, ANDREW and DEBORAH KERR, and CHRISTOPHER and TIFFANY F. VOLKERS BEFORE THE TOWN COUNCIL OF WINONA LAKE, INDIANA YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a petition has been filed with the Town Council of Winona Lake, Indiana by Richard R. Long Jr., Ruth H. Long and Kristen J. Long, Daniel and Melissa Clemens, Andrew and Deborah Kerr, and Christopher and Tiffany R. Volkers, requesting the vacation by ordinance of all of an alley platted in First Amended & Additional Plat to Winona Park, now Winona Lake between Lots 119 and 120 and between Lot 120, 121, and 122, and Lots 3, 4 and 5 of Lawns of the Court, and more particularly described as follows: Right-of-way (alley) as platted in the First Amended & Additional Plat to Winona Park, now Winona Lake, more specifically beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 119; thence 100 feet Southerly along the East boundary of Lot 119 to the North border of Lot 2 of Lawns of the Court; thence 115 feet Easterly to the Northeast corner of Lot 5; thence 20 feet Northerly to the South border of Lot 122; thence 100 feet Westerly to the Southwest corner of Lot 120; thence 80 feet Northerly to the Northwest corner of Lot 120; thence 15 feet Westerly to the point of beginning. This described the alley lying between Lots 119 and 120 as well as between Lot 120, 121 and 122 on the North and Lots 3, 4 and 5 on the on the South. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Town Council of Winona Lake, Indiana, has set the petition for hearing at 6 p.m. on November 19, 2013, at the chambers of the Town Council, located in the Town Hall, 1310 Park Avenue, Winona Lake, Indiana. Any person may appear and be heard with regard to the petition at the time, date and place above scheduled for hearing; or may send written comments or response to the Clerk-Treasurer of Winona Lake, Indiana, prior to the time and date set for hearing. After hearing the petition may be granted, denied or continued and an ordinance may be introduced and passed according to law, providing for the vacation of the right-of-way described in this notice. .
