NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING You are hereby notified that a request has been submitted to the Town Council of the Town of Leesburg by Freedom Oil, LLC, requesting the vacation by ordinance of an alley which alley is located between Lot No. 117 and a tract of ground presently owned by Farmers State Bank and between Main and Hickory Streets in the Town of Leesburg, Indiana, and more particularly described as follows: A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 8, township 33 North, Range 6 East, Plain Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana, also being part of a 1 rod alley in the Original Plat of Leesburg (also known as Beck's Addition) as recorded in Plat Book 1, page 112 in the Office of the Recorder in Kosciusko County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot Number 117 in said plat; thence South, 16.5 feet to the Northwest corner of a tract of ground owned by Farmers State Bank (Dr. 333, Pg. 26); thence East, along the North line of said tract, 99 feet to the Northeast corner of said tract; thence North 16.5 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot #117; thence West, along the South line said Lot #117 to the Point of Beginning, containing 0.04 acres more or less. You are hereby notified that the Town Council of the Town of Leesburg has set the above request for hearing at 6:30 p.m. on November 12, 2012 at the Leesburg Town Hall located in Leesburg, Indiana. Any person may appear and be heard upon the request of Freedom Oil, LLC at the time, date, and place above scheduled for hearing and/or may send written comments or response to the Clerk/Treasurer of the Town of Leesburg prior to the above date and time set for hearing. After hearing, the request may be granted, denied, or continued, and an ordinance may be introduced and passed according to law, providing for the vacation of said alley subject to the existing sewer utility easement in favor of the Town of Leesburg.
