NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING IN THE MATTER OF ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF MENTONE, INDIANA Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Mentone, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on October 15, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mentone Town Hall, 201 West Main Street, Mentone, Indiana, to determine whether the following described parcels of real estate should be annexed onto the Town of Mentone, Indiana, which real estate is located in Kosciusko County, Indiana, and is more particularly described as follows, to-wit: A Tract of land in the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 31 North, Range 4 East, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point on the East right-of-way line of State Road Number 19, said point being 20 feet East and 100 feet North of the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 1, Township and Range aforesaid and running thence East 180 feet to a stake; thence South 100 feet to a fence line; thence East 73.4 feet along said fence line; North 1 degree 28 minutes West 432.6 feet along a barb wire fence to a stake; thence West 243.1 feet to the East line of State Road Number 19; thence South 323.4 feet along the East line of State Road Number 19 to the Place of Beginning, LESS AND EXCEPTING THEREFROM THE FOLLOWING: A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 31 North, Range 4 East, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East right-of-way line of State Road Number 19, said point being 20 feet East and 100 feet North of the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section, Township and Range aforesaid, and running thence East 180 feet to a stake; thence South 100 feet to a fence line; thence East 73.4 feet along said fence line; thence North 1 degree 28 minutes West 250 feet along a barb wire fence to a stake; thence West 243.1 feet to the East line of State Road Number 19; thence South 150 feet along said East line of State Road Number 19 to the Place of Beginning. Subject to any and all easements, rights-of-way, streets, highways and valid restrictions presently existing and of record, any rights of tile and drainage ditches, and any zoning ordinances applicable hereto.
