NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING STATE OF INDIANA KOSCIUSKO COUNTY SS: BEFORE THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF KOSCIUSKO COUNTY IN RE: THE PETITION OF ROBERT J. CUNNINGHAM TO THE CITIZENS OF KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, INDIANA You are hereby notified that a petition has been filed with the Board of Commissioners of Kosciusko County, Indiana by Robert J. Cunningham requesting the vacation by ordinance of a part of a street and parts of alleys in the Additional Plat to the Town of Oswego, more particularly described as follows: a. The West half of 2nd Street abutting the four platted lots, more particularly beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 116; thence Eastward along the North line of Lot 116, projected, a distance of 33 feet; thence Southerly parallel to the East line of the above four lots a distance of 280.5 feet; thence Westerly along the South line of Lot 135, extended, a distance of 33 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 135; thence Northerly along the East line of Lots 135, 134, 117 and 116 a distance of 280.5 feet to the point of beginning; b. All of that alley lying between Lots 134 and 117, more particularly described as beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 117; thence Southerly 16.5 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 134; thence West along the North line of Lot 134 a distance of 134.125 feet to the center of a platted alley; thence Northerly 16.5 feet to a point 4.125 feet West of the Southwest corner of Lot 117; thence Easterly 132 feet along the South line of Lot 117 to the point of beginning; and, c. The East half of the alley lying to the West of Lots 134 and 135 more particularly described as beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 134; thence Southerly 132 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 135; thence Westerly 4.125 feet to the center of the unimproved alley; thence Northerly parallel to the West line of Lots 134 and 135 a distance of 132 feet; thence Easterly 4.125 feet to the point of beginning. You are hereby notified that the Board of Commissioners of Kosciusko County, Indiana has set the above petition for hearing at 9:00 a.m., on January 26, 2016, at the Kosciusko County Board of Commissioners Meeting Room in the Kosciusko County Courthouse, 100 West Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. Any person may appear and be heard upon the petition at the time, date and place above scheduled for hearing and/or may send written comments or response to the Auditor of Kosciusko County, Indiana, prior to the above time and date set for hearing. After hearing, the petition may be granted, denied or continued, and an ordinance may be introduced and passed according to law, providing for the vacation of said real estate.
