NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY TO HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING Re; Calendar year 2009 KABS Capital Assistance Grant to purchase vehicle and equipment. 1. Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by Kosciusko Area Bus Service for the purpose of considering a grant for which federal capital assistance under Section 5311 (formerly Section 18) of the Federal Transit Act as amended, is being sought. The hearing will be held July 30, 2008 at 5:00 pm at 1804 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, Indiana. The produce is generally described as follows: A. Description of Project: 2009 Capital Assistance Grant for Kosciusko Area Bus Service To: 1. BOVC 20 Pass (1) 2. Overhead doors (3) 3. Shop lights, tool chest, shelving 4. Radios 5. Awing 6. Seal Roof 7. Trench in bus garage Total estimated cost of all 2009 capital projects is $80,506 of which $64,405 will be funded form Section 531 Federal Funds, and $16,101 will be funded locally derived funds. 2. At the hearing Kosciusko County Area Bus Service will afford an opportunity for interested persons, agencies and private transportation providers to be heard with respect to the social, governmental and economic aspects of the grant. Interested parties may submit orally or in writing evidence and recommendations with respects to said grant to the pubic hearing. 3.
