NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO HOLD SAILBOAT RACES You are notified that Lake Tippecanoe Sailing Club, c/o James Hayes, Treasurer, 16 EMS T32B LN, Leesburg, IN 46538, has made application to the Law Enforcement Division of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, under IC 14-1-1-56 and 310 IAC 2-24, for a permit to conduct sailboat races on Lake Tippecanoe, Leesburg, Indiana, during the summer of 2007. The courses established for such races are used on alternating weekends and are described as triangle approximately three (3) miles long on the west end of Lake Tippecanoe. A second course approximately five (5) miles long runs the west end to the east end and back again, which course is to be used only on July 11, 2009. All races are set for 1:00 p.m. on the following days: June 6, and 20; July 25, August 8, and 22, and September 5, 2009. Any race postponed because of inclement weather would be rescheduled for the following weekend. Any person interested in such application proceedings may file a petition signed by at least twenty-five (25) individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and who reside in Kosciusko County, Indiana, requesting an informal hearing which is governed by 310 IAC 0.6-3. Further, such person may request the Division to notify him or her in writing when an initial determination is made to issue or deny the permit. Following receipt of such notice, such person may request administrative review of the Division's initial determination by the Natural Resources Commission pursuant to I.C. 4-21.5 and 310 IAC 0.6-1.
