Editor, Times-Union: I have to ask the Collins a couple of questions that I have wanted an answer for a long time, yet I have not received one: 1. Since you want to “distribute the wealth,” what motivation is it for Americans who have jobs to keep them knowing that they are not going to receive a fair return because they are going to be giving money to people who do not want to work? 2. If you want wealth shared, who do you know who has a job who wants to give money to someone who does not? 3. Do you really think those union protesters in Madison and Indianapolis wanted to share their wealth, or line their pockets? 4. You labeled me as “Reich-wing.” When have I ever called for denying someone of their rights based on race or religion? I know that I will not receive an answer, but I have to point out to the Collins that all I have ever advocated was a restoration of our Constitutional rights. Does that sound like some left-leaning ideologue that you’ve painted me as? I have the right to make my own choices and I do not need the government to tell me how to live my life. You may want your government hand out, but how about you try standing on your own two feet. I do not know how you came up with your arguments about me, but you are far off base. I do hope that if you truly decide to not write anymore, that you at least answer my questions unlike how you have ignored them in the past. Gary Eppenbaugh Warsaw, via e-mail
