NAPPANEE - NorthWood High School has announced Sarah Harter, Natalie Will and Amy Zercher as valedictorians of the Class of 1999.
Sarah Harter, the daughter of Jim and Tina Harter of Wakarusa, has a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Euchre Club and 4-H, and participated on the Science Academic Team and the volleyball team. Harter is a member of the Wakarusa Missionary Church. She plans to attend Purdue University and major in premedicine.
Natalie Will, the daughter of Mike and Wendy Will of Nappanee, has a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Math and Euchre clubs and participated in basketball, volleyball and softball. Will attends the Nappanee United Methodist Church. She plans to attend Northwestern University.
Amy Zercher, the daughter of Gene and Paula Zercher, Nappanee, also has a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the National Honor Society, SADD, SWAT, Math and Euchre clubs and participated in volleyball, basketball and track. Zercher is a member of the Nappanee Brethren in Christ Church. She plans to attend Ball State University and major in criminal justice.
The salutatorian of the Class of 1999 is Angie Callander, daughter of Dave and Patti Callander of Goshen. Callander is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Club, SADD and SWAT. She participated in cross country, volleyball, basketball and track. Callander is a member of the Nappanee Missionary Church and plans to attend Butler University and major in pharmacy.
