MIDDLEBURY — The second-ranked Northridge boys swim team breezed to a sectional championship Saturday afternoon at its own pool.

Winning the sectional with 560 points, Northridge’s closest competition was Elkhart Central, who finished with 377. The Wawasee Warriors finished fifth at the meet with 221.5.

While the Warriors failed to advance anyone on to this weekend’s state finals, they did finish second in three events.

Wawasee’s 200 free relay of junior Sebastian List, junior Andrew Busse, sophomore Luke Smith and sophomore Zac Hershberger finished second in 1:32.12.
