NORTH WEBSTER - Businesses in and around the North Webster area being solicited to advertise in a child safety guide are being advised that the publication is not endorsed by local law enforcement.
North Webster Town Marshal Jerry Craig said he has not seen the publication, does not know of its contents and does not endorse the handbook.
Craig said business owners should use caution when approached by such solicitors and should ask for the salesman's identification and permit to solicit.
