North Webster Set For Annual School CarnivalNORTH WEBSTER - Once again, it's time for the North Webster Elementary School carnival.
The theme this year is "Warrior Winning Spirit". Students are being encouraged to wear their favorite team jersey or warrior shirt.
The event will be held at the school from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Pre-orders for wristbands and pizza family packs from Pizza Hut were sent home. At the door, wristbands will be $12, and pizza will be sold by the slice. Stop by Loretta Yoders' Sweet Shoppe and pick out a homemade dessert, ice cream or sno-cone.
Warrior shirts and sweatshirts, car magnets and other novelties will be sold. Students can paint a treasure box for $2.
There will be a preschool-only area for parents with young children. The area will have a small inflatable, a preschool carnival game, crafts from the library and seating for parents and grandparents to rest.
Raffle tickets are being sold at the carnival. One ticket is $1, six tickets are $5 and 15 tickets are $10.
Prizes for the raffle are valued at more than $1,700. Proceeds from the raffle go to the PTO fund to help support all North Webster Elementary School students.
