AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE NORTH WEBSTER TOWN CODE WITH RESPECT TO TRAFFIC REGULATION/STOP SIGNS
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of North Webster, Indiana, has reviewed the current provisions of the Town Code with respect to establishment of stop signs; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of North Webster now finds that the current regulations need to be amended and supplemented for the good of the residents of the Town of North Webster and visitors thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF NORTH WEBSTER, INDIANA THAT THE FOLLOWING REVISION SHALL BE MADE A PART OF THE TOWN CODE, THAT THE TOWN CODE SHALL BE AMENDED AND SHALL PROVIDE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Chapter 73, Schedule II (A) shall be amended by adding an additional location for a one-way stop as follows:
All traffic on Brookside Drive shall stop at its intersection Midlake Drive before proceeding.
Section 2: That Section 73, Schedule II (D) shall be amended by adding additional locations for two-way stops, as follows:
All traffic on the westbound alley between State Road 13 and Ward Lane, (the alley being located approximately one hundred fifty feet south of First Street) shall stop at its intersection with Ward Lane before proceeding.
All traffic southbound on Ward Lane shall stop at its intersection with the alley between State Road 13 and Ward Lane, (the alley being located approximately one hundred fifty feet south of First Street) before proceeding.
THEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and due attestation and publication as required by law.
