NORTH WEBSTER – Robert Wayne Pundt was arrested Monday following a June 2 incident when he allegedly strangled a woman at her residence. North Webster Police Department officers found the victim still in the home when they arrived, responding to a domestic battery complaint. Pundt, 43, of 316 E. Washington St., North Webster, left the residence when he heard officers arrive. He was later arrested and booked Monday, with bond set at $6,000. The victim had visible red marks on her neck, a bite mark on her right arm and red marks on her right elbow, according to a probable cause affidavit filed with the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. Pundt had held her down by the throat and threatened that he would kill her, the affidavit states.
