NORTH WEBSTER – Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. will be a great time to be at the North Webster Community Center for some family-friendly fun. The Friends of the Library are sponsoring a North Webster Library event: a barn dance. No experience is needed. Nothing but a desire to learn how to square dance — or help others learn, if you’re experienced — or just to get the family out for a good time and lots of laughs. Well-known caller Jerry Davidson will coach you through the simple steps and before you know it, you’ll find yourself doing the do-si-do and swinging your partner, according to a press release from the Friends of the Library. Parents and young ones alike will enjoy light refreshments in the Banquet Hall, decorated with a few bales of hay to set the mood, and make treasured family memories. Tickets are $5 for adults and $12 for the family, and can be bought from any member of the Friends of the Library or at the door.
