NORTH WEBSTER - North Webster adopted its 2026 budget Monday, Nov. 3.
The civil max levy is $591,147. The property tax cap credit estimate is $20,900.
The casino/riverboat fund is $15,000. The rainy day fund is $70,000. The general fund is $1,196,784. The local road and street fund is $46,309. The motor vehicle highway fund is $280,800. The continuing education fund is $7,000. The cumulative capital improvement (cigarette tax) is $6,000.
The cumulative capital development fund is $20,000. The economic development income tax credit is $385,000.
Therefore, the 2026 budget is $2,026,893. The tax rate did not go up. The 2025 budget was $1,972,779.
The maximum estimated funds to be raised (including appeals and levies exempt from maximum levy limitations) is $477,744 in the general fund and $111,367 in the motor vehicle highway fund for a total of $589,111.
The current tax levy is $428,785 in the general fund and $99,896 in the motor vehicle highway fund for a total of $528,681.
The levy percentage difference is 11.42% in the general fund and 11.48% in the motor vehicle highway fund.
