The 3rd Annual North Manchester Town Wide Garage Sale is being planned for the weekend of Aug. 3-4.
Last year, some 85 garage sales were held over the two-day stretch. Chamber Executive Director Tim McLaughlin hopes that number significantly increases this year.
“We were thrilled with the participation a year ago and believe it will only increase I this year,” McLaughlin said. “ The amount of out of town traffic that the sales created was phenomenal and I would expect it to be even more this year.”
TH event is planned for late in the summer so that residents that have sales early on in the spring and summer can have another garage sale and participate in the town –wide event.
The chamber will plan the event and coordinate the advertising of the sales with the News-Journal once again. The News-Journal will act as the drop off site for your sale information. They will run the listings for two weeks and also run a detailed map highlighting the locations of each sale.
