Norman Rappe, 77, of 2401 Eastwood Road, Winona Lake, died at 5:01 a.m. Dec. 2, 2010, in his residence.
He was born Aug. 3, 1933, in Union City, to Cecil M. and Grace Bintz Rappe. On July 27, 1958, he married Carol Rippey, who survives.
He was a resident of Kosciusko County since August 1995. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warsaw - The Connection Campus, Warsaw, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked in the Human Resources Departments of RCA, New Jersey; Ball Corp., Muncie; ELSA Corp., Elwood; and Royalite, Warsaw.
Also surviving are a daughter, Susie (and spouse Steve) Hreha, Berne; a son, Douglas (and spouse Christine) Rappe, Dawsonville, Ga.; three grandchildren; and a sister, Lyn (and spouse Dick) Hardin, Palmetto, Fla.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m Sunday at First United Methodist Church of Warsaw - The Connection Campus, with Pastor Toni Carmer officiating. Burial will be Monday in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
No calling is planned.
