SYRACUSE – Norman R. “Norm” Metzler, 98, Syracuse, died at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born July 16, 1922, in Nappanee, to Ray and Goldie Mable Rensberger Metzler. He was a United States World War II Army veteran and received a Bronze Star medal. He was married on Sept. 12, 1953, in Nappanee, to Geneva E. “Gee” Case, who preceded him on Dec. 4, 2010.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8 in the South Union Cemetery near Nappanee, with Pastor David Henry officiating. Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
