Norma R. Mitschelen, 88, Warsaw, and formerly of Nappanee, died at 9:54 p.m. Nov. 18, 2013, at Lakeland Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 29, 1925, near Nappanee to Ralph and Martha Housouer Hartman. On Aug. 9, 1957, in Middlebury, she married Kenneth L. Mitschelen. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Tyler Hartford, pastor at Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Goshen, officiating. Burial, with military graveside services by the Nappanee American Legion, will be in Union Center Cemetery. Calling will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
