Norma Jean Witt, 79, of 7504 W. U.S. 30, Larwill, died at 10:18 p.m. Nov. 26, 2008, in her residence.
She was born Dec. 31, 1928, in Uniontown, Pa., to George William and Francis Catherine Kreger Johnson. On April 16, 1949, she married Wilmer Kenneth Witt Jr., who died March 2, 2002.
She was a homemaker and a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, Winona Lake.
Surviving are three daughters: Cathy (and spouse Thomas) Mullins, Kankakee, Ill.; Barbara (and spouse Robert) Vandermark, Larwill; and Nancy (and spouse John) Graham, Seale, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Ray (and spouse June) Johnson and Dan (and spouse Sandy) Johnson, all of Findlay, Ohio; John (and spouse Irma) Johnson, Burkburnett, Texas; and Ron (and spouse Janelle) Johnson, Tampa, Fla.; and two sisters, Ruth (and spouse Bob) Ashby, Uniontown, and Janet (and spouse Joe) Seman, Warren, Ohio. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 18 at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, with the Rev. Charles Ashman officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Larwill.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
