Norma J. Irwin, 90, died at 6:55 p.m. Oct. 3, 2012, in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.

She was born Aug. 14, 1922, in Elkhart, to Charles V. and Hazel James Rose. On Dec. 14, 1940, in Wanatah, she married Joseph M. Irwin, who preceded her in death on April 9, 1993.

She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County and was a homemaker. She graduated in 1940 from Etna Green High School. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood; Atwood Home Ec Club; and loved to travel the United States.

Surviving are two sons, James (and spouse Mary Ann) Irwin and William (and spouse Rita) Irwin, both of Atwood; one daughter, Nancy L. Irwin, Gallatin, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Donna Rose, Etna Green, and Alice Bennett, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles “Bud” Rose, who died Aug. 26, 2012.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood.

Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
