Norma Belle Creighton, 92, of Warsaw, died at 8:40 a.m. Aug. 15, 2012, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.

She was born June 23, 1920, in Saskatchewan, Canada, to James R. and Daisy M. Darlison Kintzel. On Dec. 2, 1939, she married Kermit W. Creighton, who died Jan. 2, 1997.

She lived most of her adult life in Atwood and graduated from Atwood High School in 1939. She was a postmaster for 28 years in Atwood. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood.

Surviving are a daughter, Beverly A. Leiter, Warsaw; two sons, Steven L. (and spouse Sue) Creighton, Warsaw; and Michael W. (and spouse Sonja) Creighton,   Brunswick, Ga.; two sisters, Mavis Michalski, Winona Lake, and Sandra Dickerson, Syracuse; eight grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-  grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two brothers and a son-in-law.

Services will be at1 p.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Jerry Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
