Norma B. Gilworth, 95, of Warsaw, died at 5 a.m. Sept. 6, 2011, in her residence.
She was born April 24, 1916, in Fowler, to Evan E. and Cassie Bankert Boles. On May 15, 1942, in Warsaw, she married Finley Gilworth, who died in 1982.
She was the first woman clerk treasurer, serving two terms from 1960-67, and worked for Lake City Bank for 16 years. She was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw, and a 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star and Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
Surviving are a nephew, Michael (and spouse Linda) Miner, Warsaw; and a niece, Ann (and spouse Paul) Gillman, Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw, with the Rev. Corinne Hodges officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at the church.
