NORTH MANCHESTER - Nondas A. Beeney, 96, of Peabody Retirement Community, and formerly of Laketon, died at 6:15 a.m. March 14, 2007, in Wabash County Hospital.
She was born Dec. 2, 1910, in Andrews, to Alvah and Hazel Druley Strevy. On April 25, 1928, she married Alfred Leroy Beeney, who died Dec. 19, 2000.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, William Beeney, North Manchester; two brothers, Paul and Richard Strevy, both of North Manchester; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Andrews.
Calling is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
