Noffsinger To Replace Hudson For Now

Jeff Noffsinger said he was "very excited about the new challenges" that he will be taking on replacing Pat Hudson as Warsaw city planner.

Warsaw Mayor Ernie Wiggins said Noffsinger will act as interim planner for approximately six months until the city's board of works makes a decision about a permanent replacement.

It is Wiggins' hope that Noffsinger will be able to move into the position officially at the first of the year.

Hudson, who resigned last month to take a city planner position in Urbana, Ill., said Noffsinger will have his hand full, the challenges are vast and the city will remain vibrant.

Noffsinger said he is looking forward to the work and the new opportunities with growth and development issues.

The board meeting held a special farewell party Friday for Hudson with cookies and punch available.

During Hudson's farewell remarks he got "choked up" and said that he would miss the people the most.

After the meeting, Hudson said that it was people who made his time spent in Warsaw worthwhile.
