Warsaw city planner Jeff Noffsinger reviewed the budget for the city's Redevelopment Commission at the meeting Monday.
"I just wanted to update everybody," said Noffsinger.
The general redevelopment budget was proposed at $5,400, compared to last year, when it was approximately $11,000, he said.
"We decreased that by more than half," he said.
The redevelopment bond and interest fund stayed the same at $439,215.

Noffsinger introduced his new administrative assistant, Debbie Wentzel, and his new intern from Indiana University, Isaiah Knouff, to the commission.
The board approved claims for legal fees of $93.75.
The board was supposed to discuss the expansion of Warsaw Northern Economic Development Area. However, Mayor Ernie Wiggins, who was absent from the meeting, requested this item not be discussed. The item was tabled for the next meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 2 at noon.
The members of the Redevelopment Commission are: Neal Carlson, Tammy Rockey, Charles Smith, Jerome Kralis and Robert Steele.
