HUNTINGTON - Noah D. "Bo" Minnix, 66, Marion, passed away Dec. 30, 2010, in his residence.

He was born Sept. 3, 1944, in Poodle Point, Ky., to Weldon and Edith Burton Minnix. On June 21, 1963, in South Whitley, he married Portia Bayman, who survives.

A truck driver for 48 years, he owned Noah's Transport for 12 years, retiring in 2005. He attended Community Chapel Church, Fairmount. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 414, Fort Wayne, where he served as a union representative for several years. He loved to fish and he will be greatly missed by his pal Bandit.

Also surviving are four daughters: Darlene (and spouse John) Brunner, Warsaw; Donni (and spouse Kurt) Gray, Markle; Lisa (and spouse Tracy) Miskovich, Huntington; and Tammy (and spouse Larry) Jeffries, Marion; a son: Kevin (and spouse Darla) Minnix, Larwill; two brothers, Lowell (and spouse Audrey) Minnix, Pierceton, and Ralph (and spouse Pam) Minnix, Pierceton; four sisters: Faye (and spouse Ed) Owens, Claypool; Carol (and spouse Barry) Sapp, Silver Lake; Freda (and spouse Kenny) Boggs, South Whitley; and Brenda Norris, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Noah Minnix Jr.; a granddaughter, Miranda Miskovich; a sister, Mattie Rhoades; and two brothers, Harold and Lloyd Minnix.

No services or calling are planned.
