Editor, Times-Union: This letter is in regards to the article written about police being able to come into your home without a warrant. No matter what the State Supreme Court says, they can not override federal law. They do not have the power to do this – towns, counties, states do not have the power to override. The Constitution gives all Americans certain rights, and one of them is our right to stop anyone from coming into our home without proper papers to do so. The 4th Amendment not only gives us that right to stop them but it is there to protect us. The state of Indiana seems fit to think they are greater than the Constitution and can make their own laws however they want to interpret it. I see a lot of trouble coming out of this, and tempers will fly if they try going into homes, when they want and there will be some out there that will abuse this so-called new law. And we all know there are some that will do it. Alan Kuta Warsaw, via e-mail
