Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
WINONA LAKE - Voters in Winona Lake can sleep in Tuesday. Or take a vacation. Or do anything but vote.
According to the county clerk's office and the Winona Lake clerk-treasurer's office, with the withdrawal of Democrat Philip White from the town's 5th Council District race, all Republican candidates are running unopposed, making the casting of ballots unnecessary.
The new town council will be: Craig Snow, Dist. 1; Jerry Clevenger, Dist. 2; Roland Ortega, Dist. 3; Jeff Carroll, Dist. 4; David Delp, Dist. 5.
Incumbent clerk-treasurer Retha Hicks is also unopposed.
