No Agreement Reached In Moser Murder Case

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. - A Warsaw woman remains in jail in Kentucky with a $1 million bond after a plea agreement could not be reached in her case.

Mickey Mosher, 54, of Warsaw, was involved in an accident that killed two men and injured another in a June 3 crash on U.S. 79 in Kentucky. Mosher was arrested Jan. 11 after allegedly testing positive for marijuana.Mosher reportedly smoked marijuana within three hours of the accident, which killed Cornelius Martin, 57, a motorcycle and automobile dealer, and Brooks Mitchell, 51, president of Hancock Bank and Trust. Bill Leachman, 61, lost his leg as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.

Mosher is charged two counts of murder, two counts of manslaughter and one count of assault as well as wanton endangerment, driving while intoxicated by alcohol or drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her jury trial is set to begin April 9.

On June 3, Mosher was driving a Ford F-150 when she reportedly crossed the center line of U.S. 79 and hit three motorcycles.

When the Kentucky State Police conducted tests, they reportedly found that Mosher had smoked marijuana within three hours of the crash.

Thursday marked the deadline Logan Circuit Judge Tyler Gill set for a plea agreement in the case.

Moser and her attorney reportedly rejected the plea agreement offered by the Logan County attorney.
