NORTH MANCHESTER - The North Manchester Public Library will hold a beginning Internet class Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the adult computer area.
Learn the history of the Internet, how to move around in the Internet, how to use e-mail and other Internet tasks.
The Internet isn't just for finding information. Have you heard of wikis, blogs, Flickr, MySpace, YouTube, Del.icio.us and RSS, but don't know whether they're for you? These social networking tools allow people - maybe even you - to connect in new and interesting ways. Increase your social network; come to the library to learn more in a quick and dirty overview of these tools and more. The meeting will be in the Blocher Community Room Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
Peg Herendeen will teach a basket class Jan. 19. The class will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Blocher Community Room. Register by Jan. 16. Material fees must be paid at registration.
Are you a budding or fully-bloomed drama queen? Teens of any and all acting abilities are welcome to join the library beginning Jan. 19 on a journey through the theater. Each monthly session will cover a different topic within the theater, including "Acting Your Way Out of a Paper Sack" and "Into a Role," "Breaking a Leg Without Breaking a Leg," and "Acting Isn't Just an Act." Meet in the basement of the library at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 19 to improve your improv.
Call the library at 260-982-4773 for more information regarding any of the library's programs.
