NORTH MANCHESTER - Due to increases of positive COVID cases in the county and per the North Manchester Public Library Service Strategies for County Pandemic/Epidemic Ratings Metrics, the North Manchester Public Library will be cancelling all in-person programs for February.
The safety of staff and patrons is the number one priority, and NMPL will continue to closely monitor the situation, as well as stay in touch with local health officials, according to a news release from the library.
For information on all the library’s February Online Programming events, visit its Programming Page. The library hopes to resume in-person programming in March, as long as the numbers improve. Updates will be posted on the NMPL social media pages and website.
The meeting rooms, Blocher Community Room, Makerspace and Playroom will be temporarily closed as well. They will re-open as soon as the positivity count for Wabash County drops beneath 25%.
NMPL encourages all patrons to take advantage of its curbside services.
NMPL also offers Libby, a free e-library for all patrons to access with their library card.
