To support and thank the men and women from Kosciusko County who are currently serving in the military whether home or abroad, the Times-Union is planning a special feature for May 17 (Armed Forces Day).
Deadline for submissions is May 10.
If you have a relative serving in any branch of the military, mail or drop off a picture and information about them to the Times-Union.
Information should include their full name, age, branch of service and how long they've served. Also include their rank, unit, job title and hometown. Names of parents spouses and children also may be included.
The serviceman or servicewoman should be a current or former resident of the the Times-Union circulation area which includes all of Kosciusko County and adjacent towns of Bourbon, North Manchester, South Whitley and Nappanee. If they are former residents, please note where they lived.
To have a picture returned to you, you must include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Pictures also can be picked up at the Times-Union after May 17.
