Tippy Lake Level Lowered
As per orders from the State of Indiana Department of Natural Resources, the Tippecane Lake Control Structure gates will be adjusted to start lowering the lake level Nov. 1 for the fall/winter season.
April 1, 2013 the Tippecanoe Lake Control Structure gates will be adjusted to start raising the lake level for the spring/summer seasons.

Komen Fundraiser Sunday In Warsaw
A fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Foundation is Sunday at Warsaw Tennis and Fitness Club, 3919 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw.
The event is a Zumbathon Party In Pink  from 2 to 4 p.m. Besides zumba, there will be raffle items and people can purchase pink hair extensions.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Warsaw Tennis and Fitness Club by calling 574-268-9622.

Breakfast Benefit Saturday In Warsaw
An all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast benefit is being planned Saturday from 7 to 10:30 a.m. at Living Hope Ministries, 595 E. CR 350N, Warsaw.
The benefit is for Pastor Don and Cheryl Gibson. The couple was hit head on by a pick up truck. The benefit will help raise funds for their medical bills. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for kids 12 and under.

Clapool Lions
Host Fish Fry
CLAYPOOL – The Claypool Lions Club will hold a fish and tenderloin fry Saturday starting at 2:30 p.m. at the Lions building.
The fry will go to 6 p.m. or until sold out. It is carry-out only. The Lions building is at 201 E. Calhoun St., Claypool.
They will have their famous baked beans, tarter sauce, potato, macaroni salads and Penguin Point’s cole slaw to make your meal complete.
Numerous community projects and many Lions sponsored programs are supported by the proceeds of the fry.
There will also be a bake sale held by the Walter’s Haitian Adoption Fund.

Zumba Event
Set Oct. 25
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
A Zumba event will be Oct. 25 from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. at Pete Thorn Center Gym, 800 N. Park Ave., Warsaw. The cost is a $5 minimum donation.
All proceeds benefit the Warsaw Police Victim Services Program.
