Leesburg Budget Workshop Set LEESBURG – The town of Leesburg is holding an open door budget workshop June 18 at 6 p.m. in the Town Hall. The town will review the budget for 2014.
Zimmer Recognized For Ink Recycling FORT WAYNE – Advantage Cartridge presents Honor of Excellece Award to Zimmer, Inc. in honor of Zimmer’s commitment to recycling of ink and toner cartridges, and their commitment to environmental stewardship. Zimmer has recycled over 3,300 ink and toner cartridges in the past year, ensuring they are not ending up in landfills. Advantage Cartridge has worked with Zimmer for the past ten years recycling their used ink and toner cartridges.
SIlver Lake Days Closes Ind. 14 SILVER LAKE – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that SR 14 (Main Street) in Silver Lake will close on Friday, June 14, at 3 p.m. for Silver Lake Days festival. The closure is between SR 15 (Jefferson Street) and Harrison Street. The detour is CR 200W to CR 1200S to CR 450W. An alternate detour is CR 450W to CR 950S to CR 200W. The road will re-open by 1 a.m. on Sunday, June 16.
Ind. 14 Closes Monday in Wabash WABASH – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that SR 13, between the N. Wabash Street/Stitt Street intersection and US 24, will close to thru traffic beginning Monday, June 17, under permit by INDOT. The closure is due to sanitary sewer construction. Local traffic will be allowed. The detour is SR 15 to US 24 to SR 13. The road is expected to reopen to thru traffic by end of the day on Friday, June 21, weather permitting.
