Town, Country Garden Club Set
Trees Across America is the theme for the Town & Country Garden Club.
This seminar is open to the public and will be in Meeting Room C at Warsaw Community Public Library Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The speaker is Andrea Nichols, who is a Warsaw native, working with city government to establish Warsaw as a Tree City USA site with the Arbor Day Foundation.
As a certified arborist, Nichols knows the many different benefits that trees can bring to a community, and hopes to share these points with attendees.
She will discuss these benefits: proper tree selection, site preparation, planting, and maintenance techniques. Nichols also is a certified utility specialist, contracted with NIPSCO. No registration is required.
