Rotary Club Helping Children Friday The Warsaw Rotary Club will meet Friday to observe a tradition that has been held for 86 years. The club will collect toys to help children through the annual “Angel Tree” outreach of The Salvation Army. More than 250 families have signed up this year, according to Ken Locke, Rotarian and community ministries director of The Salvation Army. The Warsaw Rotary Club has been supportive of The Salvation Army for 92 years since 1921, helping to ring bells, collect toys and monies to help others in Kosciusko County. Rotary Toy Day was started in 1927 and has continued each year even through the Great Depression and tough economic times. People wanting to participate may leave an unwrapped toy at the service desk of Kmart, 3350 E. Old 30, Warsaw, as well to support this event. For more information, call 574-268-7697.
