Newell “Jake” Chase Warrix, 88, Warsaw, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital.
Jake was born April 17, 1935, in Water Gap, Ky., to Hamie Wells Warrix and Theodore Warrix. He married Mollie Bernice Wireman on Dec. 17, 1955; she survives.
Jake’s life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Terry Bradford. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 9 to 11 a.m.
