Patricia Coy, executive director of the United Way of Kosciusko County, announced the addition of two new staff members to the agency. Jo Faulkner was recently hired as the community impact coordinator and Brad Leedy was hired in April to serve as the organization’s assistant director. Faulkner, a seven-year resident of Kosciusko County, has 15 years of nonprofit experience at various county agencies. Her responsibilities will include investing community donations, tracking metrics in the agency’s focus areas of education, income and health, and leading the United Way Day of Caring. She is a member of the Warsaw Kiwanis, REAL Services Area 2 Community Initiative Committee, Heartline Pregnancy Center Advisory Committee, Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association and K21 Health Services Board. Leedy, a North Webster native and Wawasee High School graduate, has over 23 years of experience in mental health and nonprofit programming. He was previously employed by Seven Counties Services Inc. in Louisville, Ky., for 19 years as a program coordinator and unit manager. Most recently, he was the clinical director for a 16-bed residential facility for youth needing substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the United Way office. Leedy is also a member of Lakeland Kiwanis.
